En Hot Coils™ Temperature Data Logger is designed to monitor and record pipe temperatures during pre-weld heating applications. Used with Baiekur Hot Coils, the data logger provides a record of temperature throughout the heating process, helping operators verify that the required preheat temperature has been reached and maintained during welding.

The logger uses an external thermocouple to measure the pipe temperature and stores thousands of temperature readings for later review. A built-in LCD display allows the current, minimum, and maximum temperatures to be viewed directly on the unit, while recorded data can be downloaded to a computer through the USB connection for analysis, documentation, and record keeping.

The unit supports Type J, K, and T thermocouples and offers selectable recording intervals from one reading per second to one reading every 12 hours. It can store up to 32,510 temperature readings and includes programmable high and low temperature alarms, making it suitable for monitoring controlled heating processes in pipeline and welding applications.

The data logger is intended to be used with an appropriate thermocouple positioned on the pipe being heated. The logger itself should remain outside the high-temperature area; its operating temperature rating is separate from the much higher temperature range of the attached thermocouple.
