The pipe expander is a robust tool precision-manufactured from heavy steel plate, designed to ensure optimal pipe shaping and alignment. It maintains a high degree of accuracy by ensuring that 90% of the pipe is always in contact with the expander's shoes. A gear box is employed to move toggles that position these shoes into a true circle, while an Acme screw exerts significant pressure to force the pipe into its correct round shape.
