Le Baiekur Hot Coils™ Model 1000 is an electric resistance heating coil designed for preheating 10-inch pipe prior to welding. The coil fits around the pipe and provides localized, even heat around the weld joint, helping bring the pipe to the temperature required by the applicable welding procedure.

Featuring an adjustable thermostat and insulated coil construction, the Model 1000 can reach an internal temperature of up to 600°F (315°C). Its hinged design allows it to be positioned around the pipe and secured in place, making it well suited for repeated use in pipeline construction and field welding applications.

The Model 1000 operates on 110/120 V and delivers 1500 W of heating power, with a standard NEMA 5-15 plug. Under the manufacturer’s test conditions, the coil reaches its maximum temperature in approximately 20 minutes.
