Le Baiekur Hot Coils™ Model 400 is an electric resistance heating coil designed for preheating 4-inch pipe prior to welding. The coil wraps around the pipe and provides localized, even heat around the weld joint, helping achieve and maintain the temperature required by the applicable welding procedure.

The Hot Coils system is designed specifically for pipeline and welding applications where controlled pipe preheating is required. Baiekur also specifies its use for hydrocarbon bake-out of certain in-service H2S piping applications when required by the applicable procedure or authority.
