Beveling Bands
Beveling Bands are ideal for cutting in tight spaces. A Right Angle Drive Attachment on the flexible whip enables cutting and beveling of pipes with only 6 inches of clearance in a bell hole. Our stainless steel bands are flexible. They adapt to the pipe and permit the crawler to smoothly and consistently cut and bevel the pipe, even if it is misshapen.
Our Beveling Bands fit pipe sizes from 6” to 144” and beyond. For coated and oversized pipes, we offer custom-made bands upon request.
The beveling bands and band crawlers work together as a cohesive system to deliver precise and efficient pipe cutting and beveling. Here’s how they complement each other:
- The beveling band is securely attached around the pipe’s circumference, creating a stable and accurate track for the crawler.
- The crawler mounts onto the band and moves along its path, maintaining precise alignment for consistent cutting and beveling.
- The flexibility of the band ensures proper contact and stability, while the crawler’s smooth operation delivers high-quality beveled edges.
This integrated system allows for efficient setup, single-operator use, and consistent results, making it ideal for various pipe sizes and conditions in demanding environments like welding and pipe fabrication.
- For beveling pipe 6” (152.4mm) and larger.
- Beveling Bands are made from durable stainless steel for long life.
- Adaptable to any beveling requirement.
