Rolli Cradles

Proline’s Rolli Cradle is an essential tool for pipeline construction and maintenance, designed to provide smooth, controlled movement of pipe while minimizing damage to coatings. Unlike traditional skids or rollers, the Rolli Cradle completely wraps around the lower half of the pipe, forming a continuous roller system that evenly distributes weight and prevents deformation. With polyurethane rollers strategically spaced to eliminate “egging,” the cradle ensures the pipe maintains its roundness during handling.

Built for versatility, Proline’s Rolli Cradles accommodate a wide range of pipe sizes, from 2 inches to 60 inches in diameter, making them suitable for various pipeline projects. The antifriction bearings reduce rolling resistance, allowing operators to move pipes with greater ease and precision. The polyurethane rollers not only glide smoothly over weld seams without catching but also protect pipe coatings from damage. Additionally, the cradle’s design allows for quick disassembly, making transportation and storage efficient. For larger pipeline applications or bore pulls, an optional spreader bar is available to support multiple cradles with a single lifting device, ensuring safe and balanced handling of heavy pipe sections.
